The new "norm"

Well, I did great with the blogging once Selah was born. It is my "record" of sorts for their baby books, but boy am I slacking with Finn's. So, here is a little info to catch myself up. He went in for his one week appointment on the 10th and did very well. He was up to 6 lb. 11 oz. which was an ounce away from his birth weight. They measured him at 20 inches and head circum. at 33.7 cm. So we are off to a great start! He goes in again on Monday for his 3 week checkup. He is eating about every 3-4 hours and eats about 3 ounces every time. He is such a good baby and isn't very fussy at all. He likes sitting in the swing as long as his sister doesn't come over to bug him. And he has amazing neck muscles! If you lay him on his stomach he lifts his head up and tries to look all around or when he lays on your shoulder he lifts his head up quite well I think for as little as his is. We are still trying to guess what color his eyes are going to be...some days they seem really blue and other days darker brown. He went through a "molting" stage, but is finally about done with that.

Besides that we are just settling in to a family of 4! Selah still loves all over her brother. She is always asking to hold him by holding out her arms and saying "old, old" which usually lasts about 2 minutes and then she is done.

She loves to read him books when I put him on the floor, which isn't often because I am still paranoid she is going to smoosh him with love :) But without prompting this is what I found the other day. Makes your heart melt! Love thinking of how protective and loving she will be as they grow up.

Our two kiddos

Oh, and she like to give him five!

What an angel...

Checking out this big ole' world!

Welcome Little Colt!

Finn and Selah welcomed their new cousin Colton (Colt) Michael into the world yesterday! Finn and he are only 12 days apart. We are so blessed to have another nephew and cannot wait to see him grow up with our kids.

This is my brother Adam's first child..what a proud daddy! Colt's mom Kristen did such a great job! She should be proud of both of them!

He was 7 lb. 8 oz. and 19.5 inches long! He has such a full head of dark wavy hair. Pretty cute if I may say so myself!

Selah and Finn

Here is a small preview of Selah and Finn together. It was taken on a camera at the wrong angle, so crane your necks to the side to view :)
