A blast from the past...month that is!

I am so far behind on past pictures so here are a few from our Labor Day Weekend... amongst other things we had our first weiner roast of the season at Tadd's parents house filled with ladder ball games, tether ball, eating hot dogs, and roasting marshmellows. It was the perfect weather for it.

Capturing Moments

Nothing is quite as sweet as a baby sleeping...especially next to his daddy! I just want to be able to freeze these moments in time..

Cousins!

This week my brother and his family were passing through and we got to spend some time together. I really miss seeing all my neices and nephews - 6 to be exact. The three girls - Kara, Katie, and Abby.

And the 3 boys - Quinton, Brett, and Andrew (it's hard to get these boys to stand still for a pic)

I feel like they change and grow up each time we see them. Selah loved being with her cousins, playing, being held, and giving hugs.

And of course Grandpa and Grandma had their hands full when all the grandkids were around!

St. Louis weekend

We got the opportunity to go to St. Louis with Tadd's family August 13-15th. It was a great time with family and quite the fun-packed weekend. We started off with Six Flags/Hurricane Harbor on Friday. It was around 104 degrees, so it was a good thing we were in the water 90% of the time. Around 4 pm we headed to the amusement park portion and soon this was the scene...

I love this picture because Finn looks like wants to say "oh my!"and Selah is completely cashed out. It was so hot we kept a cold rag under Finn as to not get him overheated and Selah like us was just pure sweat! She slept for an hour and then it was on to a few rides for her before heading back to the hotel. She was still half asleep, but enjoyed a few rides like a train, this balloon ride, and a minature version of the "Superman". Tadd ended up staying with the older kids to do some major rollercoaster riding, and I headed back with the rest of the fam with two tired kiddos. They did REALLY well for being out all day though.

Then on Sunday it was to an airconditioned place - The Magic House which was a children's museum. It was lots of fun. I love watching the grandparents just dive right in there with kids to have a good time. Grandpa helped watch kiddos and grandma could be found crawling through tunnels and all kids! The funniest part....the adults got pretty into the mystery solving, maybe more than Addy :) but...who did it you ask....our cousin Troy!! We were quite shock to see his picture amongst the suspects...who knew?! We finished off the day with the Incredible Pizza Company - a kid version of Dave and Busters or a glorified Chuck E Cheese to include mini bowling, golf carts, and mini golf. Selah dived right in with the rides and games. And of course we had to turn in her tickets to get her a mini carebear and squishy ball.

All in all it was a great weekend that ended way to quickly! Seemed like we had just packed up the car to leave and we were already heading home. Lots of good memories though.
