July 4th Weekend

We started off the weekend by skiing of course! Friday night we took the boat out with my family. Here is my amazing husband on the sky ski... he is still working on convincing me to let Selah ride in his lap (not while doing jumps of course). I just tell him to keep dreaming! It will be a few years yet if I have any say in it :)

Saturday morning started off with the annual Eureka parade. So we all got on our holiday attire and watched the festivities. And yes, this attempt at a family picture was the best we got after numerous attempts.

And the evening closed with what else...fireworks! We honor all of those who fight for our country's freedoms! Selah did about the same as last year. Not really afraid of the loud noises, just a little antsy and bored after a few minutes. She just hopped from one lap to another. And Finn, well he slept through the whole thing :) We are a blessed people!
