Sunny day of skiing!

Well, we FINALLY got a nice Saturday to ski! And Selah loved every minute. It was great. We went with Adam and Kristen and Tiffany. I was lazy and didn't ski, but everyone else did.

Here is a pic of Tadd on the sky ski. He is quite the guy. I couldn't get a good picture of his flip so you will have to watch the video to come.

Tadd slalom skiing.

Adam wakeboarding.

And yes, I had pictures of both Tiff and Kristen skiing...they were great. But you know girls, I always like to ask permission before I post full swimming pics :)

Our little skier-to-be

Playing in the water with daddy.

She loves going FAST on the boat. She does good in my dad's fishing boat, but she definately does better on our boat with speed and wind blowing in her face :)

Aunt Tiffy with Selah

Uncle Adam and Aunt Kristen - what a cute couple.

Selah even fell asleep on Adam and took a really good nap. She looked like such an angel I couldn't resist taking a picture. Something about a baby...the kissable cheeks, long eyelashes, and plump lips

Candid moments

Selah got her first true cold this week and despite feeling miserable I still turn around to see her enjoying a "plant wig"

Her newest thing is that if she doesn't fall asleep right away on her stomach we find her sound asleep like this - she is quite the flexible girl!

Moments

Do you ever stop and just want to fully soak in the moment? To cherish the joy and love that you feel at that very moment? We have truly been blessed with great friendships in our lives. Those that have helped us through hard times in life and who have stuck by us no matter what. And we were blessed on Sunday to spend a day with just a few of those friends, Nate and Emily and Scott and Heidi. I love to watch their girls and Selah together. Yes, there are other children in these families, but I cannot wait to see these girls grow up together and what friends they will become.

First, to my hubby...I love watching him with Selah. His love never ceases to amaze me, and yes as if you cannot see, she totally has him wrapped around her finger. And though I act at times that it bothers me..I love it! There is nothing like a father's love for his daughter!

Here was the whole gang pausing for a moment, and I literally mean a moment, so that we could snap a quick picture. Haley, Simeon, Zion, Milo, Fisher, Isabel, and Selah.

Selah and her girlfriend Haley!

1st time Boating with Daddy

Well, we finally decided to take our boat out on the river Friday night. Every day we have picked to go skiing, it has rained. So, we decided to take a free evening that we had and have a picnic on the river :) It was our (Selah and I) first time out on the boat with Tadd. It wasn't the greatest of weather. It was a little chilly to say the least, but it was nice just saying that we got the boat out finally. Selah loved it either way and enjoyed spending time with Papa and Grandma G. We look forward to going again when we can enjoy the sun and get a tan!

Our little boat driver!

What a cheese!

Quality family time!

Hanging out with Papa and Grandma

We love you daddy - hopefully next time you can get a better boat driver too :) Tadd was the only brave one to get in and ski and was stuck with me driving the boat!

A fun hobby!

I have been having fun editing pictures lately, so here are a few. Selah however was NOT in the mood to take pictures today and this first picture shows exactly what she thinks of the whole thing. So, not a lot of super smiley pics, but oh well! :)
