Photographers
Well, it is getting to be that time when I need to decide where to get Selah's pictures taken. We got Laynie's taken when she was a month old along with us and got some great family pictures. Now I am asking if anyone knows of a great photographer that isn't outrageously expensive :) Or if anyone needs a baby to practice taking pictures on! HA! Anyways, just looking for feedback because that is the only way you know if someone is good. So send your comments on in if you know where to go!

Nellie Gould in Peoria is completely outstanding, although the 'outrageously expensive' part does not apply to her. Her website is www.nellie-photography.com. She took our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't have been more pleased with the ways everything turned out. I do believe she is quite pricey now-a-days, especially with photographing babies, but she's definitely one to keep in mind. She's up for anything and is very creative. Check out her site just for the sheer pleasure of seeing her pics if you have some spare time! Selah is an absolute wonder and the snapshots you've taken of her make me grin with joy. My friend's fiance, Rashod Taylor, is a photographer at Portrait Inovations, but only until he can go out on his own. The point being...he does photo shoots & I imagine he wouldn't be that expensive since he's just getting started. His website is rashodtaylor.com; you can look at his stuff.

Hi Jill! I have used Portrait Innovations, at both the Shoppes in Peoria and in Bloomington and thought they did a great job. They have a 9.99 deal where you get a ton of pictures, but only one pose. I few of my friends have had really good luck with Sears. Lately, I have been taking my own and getting prints made at www.yorkphoto.com. Hope that helps.

Selah is a beauty! I can't wait until my cough is better so I can see her up close!! You might want to try Teri Norris in Goodfield for pictures. She is good and very reasonable. She did our family pics this summer. And, we were very pleased with them. Good luck in your search!

I think Summer does a great job. I have seen alot of work done by her and it is fantastic. I am not sure about the price but you would not be disappointed with the pics.
